We visited this site at the start of storm Lorenzo and Monsoon type rain. We used it, as it was only 5 miles from the Rotterdam to Hull Ferry. It was an easy route in towing a caravan, straight off the motorway.
It was the end of season so one would expect everything to be closed but wasn’t. We were greeted by very friendly staff who spoke excellent English. The site we were given was large enough for our caravan, awning and car. We were close to a well appointed toilet and shower block with individual and family showers. . This had washing up sinks as well as coin operated dish washers to use.
The site has a children’s petting zoo with deer, and other animals An avery with love birds, budgies, Cockatiels and various other exotic birds. Around the site where lots and lots of nesting boxes so I imagine in spring, the site would we more of a spring watch, nature park. In summer there is a small ferry too take you from this site across to the town of Brielle. This is beautiful and well worth a visit. The site even at this late stage of the season had a good sized supermarket. A pub open, on Friday evenings and weekends. Except for the monsoons it would have been great for cycling there are several good routes. Walking around the site and looked at its beaches and swimming area, and children’s playground it was well worth a visit. In a warmer month it would have been fantastic. We found the campsite Wi-Fi to be inexpensive and very good.
We will be visiting again in the warmer months to see the site in its full potential. Possibly taking our grandchildren, as there was more than enough there, to keep them occupied. It is a well run Family owned site; which is family orientated.
We were made to feel very welcome. Even in the Monsoons.

Coming from the UK we use this site a lot as a convenient stopover on our way to and from the ferry at Europort.
We enjoy the surroundings of this site - you would not know you are surrounded by the industry of Rotterdam and the beautiful village of Brielle is a short ferry ride away.
