Camping La Manga lies in the south-east of Spain on the Mar Menor lagoon, which is separated from the Mediterranean by a narrow strip of land. There are sandy beaches on both sides. There are a few small islands in the salt water lagoon which is home to several bird species. There are also mud baths which supposedly have a therapeutic effect. In the vicinity of the camping grounds are many sights.

For a lovely day out you can go to Murcia and see the highest cathedral of Spain with beautiful clock tower, go back to ancient times in Cartagena or go for a drive along the shore of the Mar Menor lagoon. Nature Park Calbanque lies on the south side of the campsite.

Camping of almost one km

If you stay on Camping La Manga with your own camping equipment, you stand on a pitch which is separated by green hedges and trees. The surface is covered with gravel and all pitches have water connections and drainage as well as electricity.

Camping La Manga has several ablution blocks which are spread over the grounds. The campsite extends for almost one km, so a (folding) bicycle would come in handy.

Salt water lake or to the swimming pool

The campsite is situated on Mar Menor where tall palm trees create an exotic atmosphere. The lake is shallow, which makes it ideal for children. You can take sailing, canoeing and windsurfing lessons and there are several eating establishment by the lagoon. On the campsite itself you will find a large swimming pool with a separate children's pool and an indoor pool.
