I have used Haro for a few years now heading from Santander or back to with the campsite being of good quality but the entrance road has become so bad with potholes and broken road surface that you need a 4X4 car and off road caravan to safety enter / exit the site. They also haven\'t done anything to rectify the very narrow bridge just before the campsite entrance which if you have a 8ft wide caravan is very tight. As we tend to only use Haro as a stopover the use of the restaurant is a must but beware it doesn\'t seem to open on a Tuesday.

A really pleasant campsite that holds its head well above other Spanish campsites to the West that we have visited. Friendly staff, easy access to potable water, electricity is stable. The reception has a bicycle repair station, so you can inflate your tyres and it is cheap. The wikiloc cycling app shows lots of cycle routes, there are lots of Bodegas (hopefully not indulge too much of each!). ACSI plots are large, we declined the premium experience.

Stayed here whilst visiting the Rioja region. Nice site with reasonable sized pitches. The shower block was regularly cleaned so all good. You can walk into town or to the Wine Estacion by the river. We had a biblical storm whilst staying here but the water drained pretty quickly. Nice site overall

Stay here all the time, nothing changes, it’s still very good, clean facilities, excellent area and great staff, will continue to stop off here.

We have stayed here on arrival by ferry into Santander or Bilbao for the past 10 years, also prior to departure retuning home, ports easily reached within 3 hours. Reception open until 9 o\'clock in the evening (21.00 hrs) which is very handy if arriving late at the ports. Close to town and it\'s many attractions (mainly wine related) and shops.HQ of the Rioja region which offers many days out so always worth stopping for a few days. Excellent dining facilities open from 8am until late.

Beautiful campsite in Rioja. It wasn\'t too busy and we stayed on the grass free-for-all area as the marked pitches would have been rather tight. The pool was (surprisingly and annoyingly) closed in June because it was off-season and the municipal outdoor pool (2 minutes away) was also not yet open. One of the reasons we chose the campsite was because it had a pool. We found the indoor municipal pool about 10 minute cycle away, thankfully.
The playgrounds were pretty good, however, and kept the kids entertained for a couple of hours over 2 days. There is a young kids play area with swings and stuff, then there\'s a big kids area with zip wire and climbing wall.
Facilities are excellent. Campsite is clean, tidy and friendly. Worth a stay of at least couple of days with no pool - maybe longer if the pool is open.

A lovely site situated on the edge of Haro and a 10min walk to the centre. It caters for all ages.
Has a large pool and play area for children. Facilities are good, including laundry room.
Pitches are well separated but could be a bit small for larger vans. Staff are friendly and there\'s a nice reception area.
Good local shops.
