This campsite is in the sunniest part of Austria. And that is how the campsite got its name. Camping Sonnenland is in the far east, near the village of Lutzmannsburg in the state of Burgenland. You can take varied walks and bike rides around the campsite, through level landscapes in Austrian terms. The area is also known for its viticulture. You can sample the delicious wines made in Burgenland at winemakers and Weinstuben (wine bars). The campsite itself is ideal for dog owners and families with (young) children.

Pick your own camping pitch

This campsite has two types of tourist camping pitches. You can choose a Luxusstellplatz (about 118 m²) or a XL Luxusstellplatz (180 to 240 m²). If you come on the off chance and go to reception to book a pitch at Camping Sonnenland, you can pick your own spot.

Nice swimming lake with inflatable slide

There is a lovely swimming lake on this campsite's grounds. You can reach this lake via two fine sandy beaches and a solid swimming jetty. There is an inflatable slide next to the lake which you can have fun sliding down. You can also swim with your dog in the swimming lake. Dogs can go into the water via their own beach.

From corn pit to haystack

The campsite has many playing facilities. There are various sports fields and playgrounds. Furthermore, the youngest campers can have lots of fun on the bouncy castles, in the corn pit, on the pump track and in the large haystack. There is also a lovely petting zoo at the campsite.

Travelling party: Seniors

Keine Empfehlung! Auf diesem Platz stimmt vieles nicht! Für Hundebesitzer vielleicht ok, aber ich würde im Badeteich nicht schwimmen wollen, wo fremde Hunde herumschwimmen und schon gar nicht mit Kindern hineingehen. Schattenplätze sind rar und die Vegetation ausgebrannt. Im August waren daher auch noch viele Plätze frei. Kein Restaurant, Mini-Markt bescheiden, Wlan geht nur beim Sanitärgebäude. In die Therme fahren mit dem Rad geht noch, aber dafür gibt es bessere Alternativen wo auch das Peis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Wir waren mit unserem Enkel hier- der Aufenthalt war sehr schön - wir kommen gerne wieder. Freundliches Personal- Sanitäranlagen in Ordnung und immer sauber.

Travelling party: Seniors

Dies ist ein hervorragend geführter Campingplatz, er wurde nach längerem Leerstand im Jahr 2021 von drei Schwestern neu eröffnet.
Sehr freundlich ung familiär, sehr sauber, großzügige Stellplätze mit eigenem Wasser- und Abwasseranschluss.
Beim Schwimmbad handelt es sich um ein Naturschwimmbad (kleiner See)..
Ein Restaurant gibt es nicht, aber ein kleines Bistro für Snacks, Toast, Kaffee ...
Die Umgebung bietet vor allem Radfahrern ein umfangreiches Angebot.

Waren mittlerweile schon drei mal mit unseren Enkelkindern hier auf Kurzurlaub die Nähe zur Sonnentherme ist einfach optimal , das Personal am Campingplatz sehr freundlich, die Sanitäranlagen sauber. Was wir uns wünschen würden wäre ein kleines Restaurant wo man auf der Terssse sitzen kann .

Travelling party: Couple

Ein wunderbarer Campingplatz mit allem drum und dran. Strom, Frischwasser und Abwasser befinden sich auf der Parzelle. Der Schwimmteich (Sonnenlandmeer) lädt zum planschen und schwimmen ein. Eine lange Wasserrutsche lässt die Kinderherzen höherschlagen. Aber zu entdecken gibt es viel. Neben vielen Tieren im Streichelzoo, auch verschiedene Hüpfburgen und riesen lego Steine in der Spielhalle. Auch Fellnasen sind herzlich willkommen. Dafür steht auch ein agillity Platz und ein eigener Seezugang zur Verfügung. Im Minimarkt gibt es immer frisches Geback, Getränke und Kleinigkeiten für den "Haushalt"

Alles in allem, eine Empfehlung für Familien, Hundebesitzer und alle anderen.

Tolle Lage, tolle Gastgeber, großer eingezäunter Freilauf-Platz für Hunde mit Bademöglichkeit, Therme in der Nähe für schlechte Wettertage. Einfach Ankommen und wohlfühlen...

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

TOP Campingplatz, wir waren mit unseren Enkeln 8 Nächte hier. Von Maisbad, Hüpfburgen, Wasserrutsche, und ein schöner Streichelzoo. Die Snacks schmecken vorzüglich und im Shop findet man alles von Stromstecker bishin zu täglich frischem Gebäck.

Wir sind dieses Jahr zum zweiten Mal hier gewesen. Für uns ein Traum, 1 Stunde von Wien entfernt. Die Sanitäranlagen top modern und sauber. Wir hatten einen XL Platz mit Lagerfeuer und Grill. Unsere beiden kleinen sind den ganzen Tag unterwegs gewesen, ihre Favoriten sind das Maisbad und die Riesen Hüpfburgen. Von der Freundlichkeit der jungen Damen können sich andere eine große Scheibe abschneiden

Hellauf Begeistert, wir sind im Sommer durch Zufall auf das kleine Stück Paradies gestoßen. Sanitäranlagen durchgehend sauber. Moderne, helle gefließte Anlagen. Badeteich mit flachem Einstieg, Sandstrand mit Palmen. Die Stellplätze sind eben, sehr groß gehalten und mit Büschen wird Privatsphäre geschaffen. Günstige Preise, viel Auswahl, leckeres Gebäck erhältlich. Können diesen Platz vollstens empfehlen

Für Kinder ein Paradies, lieber streichelzoo mit den zutraulichsten Tieren die ich jemals gesehen habe. Riesiges Spielareal für Kinder, wasserrutschen und ein schöner Badesee. Die Kängurus waren von unserem kleinen die Lieblingstiere
