As nice and clean as this campsite is, it is also ridiculously expensive! Shower & Toilet block is beautiful but showerheads are fixed quite high. The disability shower & Toilet are at the very of the block and share their space with the laundry machines.

Water is provided at most pitches but as there is no hose, you still need a container to fill your water tank.

The internet is \'free\' but not much good unless you are up at the reception area.

In conclusion, if you are tall, able bodied, no teenagers, no pets and are able to carry your water to your van, then this is the place for you!


The site is 22kms from Berlin.

This campsite is one of the best we have stayed at. It was fantastic all round and I world recommend it to anyone wanting a base to visit Berlin from or just to take a break in a pieceful place.

I called the site to pre-book and was worried about my poor German - no worries the staff spoke good English so it was easy to book and simple to find out information when staying.

Getting to Berlin was easy. We drove to the nearest train station (Mahlow) and parked in the park and ride free parking. We had pre-purchased tickets at the campsite and found getting in and around Berlin really easy. It took about 30mins each way.

The site facilities were great. The pitches were a good size, the general noise on the site was low while we were there and the toilets and showers were the best we encountered in Europe (plus the showers were fee and unlimited).

All in all a top site to visit and stay at. Really clean and well looked after. Excellent showers and communal areas. Good pitches and good location for Berlin. Worth every penny (or Euro).
